Save Nala: Emilia can't afford the emergency vet
Nala, Emilia's dog, needs urgent treatment for pyometra costing $1,500.

Nala is my dog of eleven years. On 1 April we rushed to Mobile Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,500.
They have stabilized Nala, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Nala is more than a pet - Nala is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $230 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Mobile Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Nala's recovery.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,100
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $270
• Medication and follow-up visits: $130
