Save Mocha: Wunmi can't afford the emergency vet
A German shepherd named Mocha needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $200 bill the family can't cover.

Mocha is my German shepherd of thirteen years. On 26 August we rushed to the Abuja Emergency Vet Clinic with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $200.
They have stabilized Mocha, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Mocha is more than a pet - Mocha is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $50 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Abuja Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $200 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $110
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $35
• Medication and follow-up visits: $20
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $35
With deep gratitude,
Wunmi

Take care, Wunmi. Hope you get there. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless
