Save Mocha: Simone can't afford the emergency vet
Mocha, Simone's dog, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $2,150.

Mocha is my dog of two years. On 30 May we rushed to Milan Veterinary Centre with severe tick fever. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,150.
They have stabilized Mocha, but the treatment can't wait beyond August.
Mocha is more than a pet - Mocha is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $200 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Milan Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Mocha's recovery.
Where the $2,150 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,500
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $210
• Medication and follow-up visits: $195
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $245
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
- Simone
