Mocha is my rabbit of eleven years. On 15 July we rushed to Warren Animal Hospital with bloat. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,150.
They have stabilized Mocha, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Mocha is more than a pet - Mocha walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $290 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Warren Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,150 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,050
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $540
• Medication and follow-up visits: $300
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $260
