Save Mocha: Paloma can't afford the emergency vet
Mocha, Paloma's rabbit, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $400.

Mocha is my rabbit of two years. On 5 August we rushed to Medellín Veterinary Centre with severe tick fever. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $400.
They have stabilized Mocha, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Mocha is more than a pet - Mocha got me through my hardest year. I have already put $45 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Medellín Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $400 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $210
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $70
• Medication and follow-up visits: $30
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $90
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
