Save Mocha: Benoît can't afford the emergency vet
A three-legged dog named Mocha needs emergency surgery - a $2,250 bill the family can't cover.
🇫🇷 France2,160 views
Mocha is my three-legged dog of nine years. On 9 May we rushed to Paris Veterinary Centre with bloat. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,250.
They have stabilized Mocha, but the treatment can't wait beyond August.
Mocha is more than a pet - Mocha got me through my hardest year. I have already put $240 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Paris Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,250 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,400
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $470
• Medication and follow-up visits: $240
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $140

Hang in there, Benoît. I hope things turn around soon. After 14 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Brisbane
