Save Mocha: Beau can't afford the emergency vet
A rescue greyhound named Mocha needs emergency surgery - a $2,800 bill the family can't cover.

Mocha is my rescue greyhound of three years. On 15 October we rushed to the Akron Emergency Vet Clinic with kidney failure. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,800.
They have stabilized Mocha, but the treatment can't wait beyond December.
Mocha is more than a pet - Mocha got me through my hardest year. I have already put $150 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Akron Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,800 goes:
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $720
• Medication and follow-up visits: $320
• Emergency surgery: $1,760
