Milo is my rescue greyhound of nine years. On 8 September we rushed to Santos Animal Hospital with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $550. They have stabilized Milo, but the treatment can't wait beyond December. Milo is more than a pet - Milo is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $85 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Santos Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals. Where the $550 goes: • Emergency surgery: $185 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $220 • Medication and follow-up visits: $45 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $100 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
