Save Milo: Elena can't afford the emergency vet
Milo, Elena's rescue greyhound, needs urgent treatment for a broken leg after a road accident costing $1,900.

Milo is my rescue greyhound of thirteen years. On 18 May we rushed to Arlington Animal Hospital with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,900.
They have stabilized Milo, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Milo is more than a pet - Milo walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $160 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Arlington Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,900 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,200
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $560
• Medication and follow-up visits: $140
