Milo is my three-legged dog of eleven years. On 3 July we rushed to Albany Animal Hospital with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,700. They have stabilized Milo, but the treatment can't wait beyond September. Milo is more than a pet - Milo is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $185 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Albany Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Milo's recovery.
