Max is my rescue greyhound of eleven years. On 6 March we rushed to Ikeja Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $400. They have stabilized Max, but the treatment can't wait beyond May. Max is more than a pet - Max is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $45 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Ikeja Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Max's recovery. Where the $400 goes: • Emergency surgery: $170 • Hospitalization (4 nights): $110 • Medication and follow-up visits: $45 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $75 Thank you so much. - Nnamdi
