Save Max: Krishna can't afford the emergency vet
A dog named Max needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $300 bill the family can't cover.

Max is my dog of six years. On 8 March we rushed to Bhaktapur Veterinary Centre with bloat. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $300.
They have stabilized Max, but the treatment can't wait beyond May.
Max is more than a pet - Max is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $50 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Bhaktapur Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Max's recovery.
Where the $300 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $220
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $45
• Medication and follow-up visits: $15
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $20
