Save Max: Ivy can't afford the emergency vet
Max, Ivy's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for a ruptured cruciate ligament costing $2,800.

Max is my German shepherd of two years. On 22 November we rushed to Orlando Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,800.
They have stabilized Max, but the treatment can't wait beyond February.
Max is more than a pet - Max is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $110 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Orlando Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,800 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,900
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $520
• Medication and follow-up visits: $270
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $110
