Save Maple: Valentina can't afford the emergency vet
Maple, Valentina's rescue greyhound, needs urgent treatment for a tumor on the spleen costing $1,750.

Maple is my rescue greyhound of two years. On 15 April we rushed to Duluth Veterinary Centre with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,750.
They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Maple is more than a pet - Maple is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $160 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Duluth Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $910
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $380
• Medication and follow-up visits: $230
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $230
