Save Maple: Rajesh can't afford the emergency vet
A German shepherd named Maple needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $2,200 bill the family can't cover.

Maple is my German shepherd of six years. On 25 December we rushed to Boston Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,200.
They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond February.
Maple is more than a pet - Maple got me through my hardest year. I have already put $220 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Boston Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,350
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $390
• Medication and follow-up visits: $270
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $190
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Wishing you peace, Rajesh. I hope things turn around soon. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Boston.
hope you get there. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
Take care, Rajesh. This could happen to any of us. My husband and I read this together. Take care.
