Maple is my rescue greyhound of eleven years. On 10 September we rushed to Rio de Janeiro Animal Hospital with bloat. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $700. They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond December. Maple is more than a pet - Maple got me through my hardest year. I have already put $110 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Rio de Janeiro Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
