Save Maple: Dereje can't afford the emergency vet

Maple is my three-legged dog of thirteen years. On 29 June we rushed to Adama Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $350.
They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Maple is more than a pet - Maple is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $25 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Adama Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Maple's recovery.
Where the $350 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $195
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $90
• Medication and follow-up visits: $30
