Mango is my senior cat of three years. On 17 May we rushed to Ekurhuleni Animal Hospital with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $250. They have stabilized Mango, but the treatment can't wait beyond July. Mango is more than a pet - Mango is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $60 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Ekurhuleni Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
