Save Mango: Raúl can't afford the emergency vet
A dog named Mango needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $1,950 bill the family can't cover.

Mango is my dog of thirteen years. On 14 March we rushed to Springfield Veterinary Centre with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,950.
They have stabilized Mango, but the treatment can't wait beyond May.
Mango is more than a pet - Mango is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $290 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Springfield Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.

Is hospitalization (4 nights) the biggest cost or is there more coming?
Hospitalization (4 nights) is $590 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Fair thing to want to know.
We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too!
