Save Mango: Mariana can't afford the emergency vet
A rescue greyhound named Mango needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $800 bill the family can't cover.

Mango is my rescue greyhound of nine years. On 30 August we rushed to Duque de Caxias Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $800.
They have stabilized Mango, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Mango is more than a pet - Mango is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $105 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Duque de Caxias Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Mango's recovery.

• Emergency surgery: $510
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $145
• Medication and follow-up visits: $80
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $65
