Luna is my three-legged dog of two years. On 6 April we rushed to Burnaby Animal Hospital with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,650. They have stabilized Luna, but the treatment can't wait beyond May. Luna is more than a pet - Luna got me through my hardest year. I have already put $200 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Burnaby Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals. Where the $1,650 goes: • Emergency surgery: $840 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $230 • Medication and follow-up visits: $260 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $320 If you're reading this, thank you.
