Save Luna: Anyango can't afford the emergency vet
Luna, Anyango's senior cat, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $200.
🇰🇪 Nairobi, Kenya365 views
Luna is my senior cat of thirteen years. On 1 December we rushed to Nairobi Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $200.
They have stabilized Luna, but the treatment can't wait beyond March.
Luna is more than a pet - Luna walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $25 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Nairobi Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Luna's recovery.
Where the $200 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $35
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $140
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $25
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

It takes guts to ask. Well done. Put this on a community board in Kinondoni this morning
Hope the recovery goes smoothly. Put this on a community board in Dwarka this morning.
you're not alone. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. It's not much but it's yours. Greetings from Nagpur.
Hang in there, Anyango. Give Luna a hug from me. We're a small family in Likoni but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Nairobi
