Save Luna: Andrew can't afford the emergency vet
Luna, Andrew's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for a broken leg after a road accident costing $3,050.

Luna is my German shepherd of nine years. On 13 August we rushed to the Brampton Emergency Vet Clinic with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $3,050.
They have stabilized Luna, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Luna is more than a pet - Luna is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $210 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Brampton Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $3,050 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,950
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $690
• Medication and follow-up visits: $145
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $265
