Save Hazel: Malathi can't afford the emergency vet
A rescue greyhound named Hazel needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $250 bill the family can't cover.

Hazel is my rescue greyhound of thirteen years. On 10 July we rushed to Nashik Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $250.
They have stabilized Hazel, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Hazel is more than a pet - Hazel walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $20 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Nashik Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Hazel's recovery.
Where the $250 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $50
• Emergency surgery: $175
• Medication and follow-up visits: $25
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Praying for you, Malathi. Give Hazel a hug from me. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Nuremberg.
