Save Hazel: Javier can't afford the emergency vet
Hazel, Javier's senior cat, needs urgent treatment for a foreign object blocking the intestines costing $1,600.

Hazel is my senior cat of nine years. On 24 November we rushed to the Alicante Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,600.
They have stabilized Hazel, but the treatment can't wait beyond February.
Hazel is more than a pet - Hazel is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $160 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Alicante Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Hazel's recovery.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,050
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $250
• Medication and follow-up visits: $90
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $210
