Ginger is my cat of eleven years. On 18 May we rushed to Kawasaki Animal Hospital with kidney failure. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,250. They have stabilized Ginger, but the treatment can't wait beyond July. Ginger is more than a pet - Ginger got me through my hardest year. I have already put $210 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Kawasaki Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ginger's recovery. Where the $2,250 goes: • Emergency surgery: $1,500 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $350 • Medication and follow-up visits: $145 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $255 Every share and every dollar helps.

    • Best of luck, Yusuke. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 25 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from São Paulo.

      • rooting for you, Yusuke. Poor Ginger, hope they feel better soon. I hope July is when things finally get easier.
