Save Ginger: Michel can't afford the emergency vet
A German shepherd named Ginger needs orthopedic surgery - a $700 bill the family can't cover.

Ginger is my German shepherd of nine years. On 29 November we rushed to Marseille Animal Hospital with kidney failure. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $700.
They have stabilized Ginger, but the treatment can't wait beyond February.
Ginger is more than a pet - Ginger is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $210 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Marseille Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ginger's recovery.
Where the $700 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $180
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $90
• Emergency surgery: $430

Sending love, Michel. Hope the recovery goes smoothly. Don't give up
Thanks for sharing this. Shared this with my family. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Marseille
You're not alone, Michel. It takes guts to ask. Well done. God bless.
