Save Daisy: Kagiso can't afford the emergency vet
Daisy, Kagiso's cat, needs urgent treatment for a broken leg after a road accident costing $550.

Daisy is my cat of two years. On 8 July we rushed to Soweto Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $550.
They have stabilized Daisy, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Daisy is more than a pet - Daisy walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $30 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Soweto Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $550 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $260
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $180
• Medication and follow-up visits: $40
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $70
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Stay strong. Shared this with my family. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Soweto.
Sending love, Kagiso. Your post was clear and honest. Blessings
