Save Coco: Unathi can't afford the emergency vet
Coco, Unathi's three-legged dog, needs urgent treatment for a broken leg after a road accident costing $600.

Coco is my three-legged dog of six years. On 16 August we rushed to Johannesburg Animal Hospital with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $600.
They have stabilized Coco, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Coco is more than a pet - Coco is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $75 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Johannesburg Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.

• Emergency surgery: $370
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $120
• Medication and follow-up visits: $50
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $60
