Save Coco: Travis can't afford the emergency vet
Coco, Travis's senior cat, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $2,300.

Coco is my senior cat of nine years. On 4 September we rushed to the Geelong Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,300.
They have stabilized Coco, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Coco is more than a pet - Coco got me through my hardest year. I have already put $290 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Geelong Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,150
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $500
• Medication and follow-up visits: $320
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $330
