Coco is my German shepherd of two years. On 16 July we rushed to the Tokyo Emergency Vet Clinic with bloat. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $850. They have stabilized Coco, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Coco is more than a pet - Coco is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $195 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to the Tokyo Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Coco's recovery. Where the $850 goes: • Hospitalization (4 nights): $440 • Medication and follow-up visits: $165 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $245 Thank you for reading my story.
