Save Coco: Pamela can't afford the emergency vet
A rescue greyhound named Coco needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $2,250 bill the family can't cover.

Coco is my rescue greyhound of nine years. On 20 September we rushed to the Fort Worth Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,250.
They have stabilized Coco, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Coco is more than a pet - Coco walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $125 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Fort Worth Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Coco's recovery.
Where the $2,250 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,200
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $630
• Medication and follow-up visits: $175
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $245
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
