Save Coco: Keith can't afford the emergency vet

Coco is my three-legged dog of eleven years. On 16 June we rushed to the Edinburgh Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,900. They have stabilized Coco, but the treatment can't wait beyond September. Coco is more than a pet - Coco is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $290 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
