Save Buddy: Shawn can't afford the emergency vet
Buddy, Shawn's tabby kitten, needs urgent treatment for pyometra costing $2,000.

Buddy is my tabby kitten of two years. On 14 December we rushed to the Ballarat Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,000.
They have stabilized Buddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond March.
Buddy is more than a pet - Buddy got me through my hardest year. I have already put $350 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Ballarat Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,050
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $670
• Medication and follow-up visits: $155
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $125
