Save Bruno: Theodore can't afford the emergency vet

Bruno is my senior cat of thirteen years. On 13 April we rushed to the Hamilton Emergency Vet Clinic with kidney failure. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,600.
They have stabilized Bruno, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Bruno is more than a pet - Bruno is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $230 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Hamilton Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.

• Medication and follow-up visits: $260
• Emergency surgery: $1,200
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $140
