Save Bruno: Silke can't afford the emergency vet
Bruno, Silke's tabby kitten, needs urgent treatment for a foreign object blocking the intestines costing $2,300.

Bruno is my tabby kitten of thirteen years. On 12 August we rushed to the Munich Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,300.
They have stabilized Bruno, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Bruno is more than a pet - Bruno is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $165 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Munich Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Bruno's recovery.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,600
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $450
• Medication and follow-up visits: $120
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $130

Emergency surgery is $1,600 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Fair thing to want to know.
