Biscuit is my rescue greyhound of three years. On 12 January we rushed to the Rio de Janeiro Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $500. They have stabilized Biscuit, but the treatment can't wait beyond April. Biscuit is more than a pet - Biscuit is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $30 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Rio de Janeiro Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals. Where the $500 goes: • Emergency surgery: $175 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $200 • Medication and follow-up visits: $35 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $90 Thank you for reading my story.
