Save Biscuit: Marcel can't afford the emergency vet

Biscuit is my dog of eleven years. On 2 April we rushed to the Haarlem Emergency Vet Clinic with kidney failure. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,600.
They have stabilized Biscuit, but the treatment can't wait beyond June.
Biscuit is more than a pet - Biscuit walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $185 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Haarlem Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.

• Emergency surgery: $860
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $270
• Medication and follow-up visits: $190
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $280
