Save Biscuit: Eduardo can't afford the emergency vet
A cat named Biscuit needs emergency surgery - a $300 bill the family can't cover.
🇨🇴 Envigado, Antioquia, Colombia1,000 views
Biscuit is my cat of two years. On 26 May we rushed to Envigado Veterinary Centre with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $300.
They have stabilized Biscuit, but the treatment can't wait beyond August.
Biscuit is more than a pet - Biscuit is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $50 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Envigado Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Biscuit's recovery.
Where the $300 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $70
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $75
• Emergency surgery: $155

Sending good thoughts, Eduardo. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care
Thinking of you and your family, Eduardo. Give Biscuit a hug from me. Wish I lived closer to Fresno so I could bring a meal.
Wishing you peace. Give Biscuit a hug from me. My husband and I read this together.
Sending good thoughts. Give Biscuit a hug from me. Don't give up. All the best
Good luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
