Save Biscuit: Asuka can't afford the emergency vet
A dog named Biscuit needs orthopedic surgery - a $1,500 bill the family can't cover.

Biscuit is my dog of thirteen years. On 3 July we rushed to the Setagaya Emergency Vet Clinic with kidney failure. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,500.
They have stabilized Biscuit, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Biscuit is more than a pet - Biscuit walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $165 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Setagaya Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $510
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $600
• Medication and follow-up visits: $270
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $120

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. emergency surgery comes first ($510) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. I'll keep the page updated.
