Save Biscuit: Anele can't afford the emergency vet
A German shepherd named Biscuit needs orthopedic surgery - a $450 bill the family can't cover.

Biscuit is my German shepherd of six years. On 10 August we rushed to Pietermaritzburg Animal Hospital with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $450.
They have stabilized Biscuit, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Biscuit is more than a pet - Biscuit walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $60 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Pietermaritzburg Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $450 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $330
• Medication and follow-up visits: $45
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $75
Thanks for being kind about this.
