Port Harcourt
Biscuit is my rabbit of three years. On 16 January we rushed to the Port Harcourt Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $150. They have stabilized Biscuit, but the treatment can't wait beyond April. Biscuit is more than a pet - Biscuit is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $30 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Port Harcourt Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals. Where the $150 goes: • Medication and follow-up visits: $40 • Hospitalization (4 nights): $70 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $40 I hope life is good to you. - Adaeze
