Archie is my three-legged dog of nine years. On 9 May we rushed to Kassel Animal Hospital with pyometra. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $2,300. They have stabilized Archie, but the treatment can't wait beyond July. Archie is more than a pet - Archie is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $280 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Kassel Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Archie's recovery. Where the $2,300 goes: • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $270 • Emergency surgery: $1,400 • Hospitalization (3 nights): $630 Please ask me anything in the questions section.
