Save Archie: Andreas can't afford the emergency vet
A senior cat named Archie needs emergency surgery - a $1,150 bill the family can't cover.

Archie is my senior cat of six years. On 2 March we rushed to Duisburg Veterinary Centre with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,150.
They have stabilized Archie, but the treatment can't wait beyond June.
Archie is more than a pet - Archie is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $320 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Duisburg Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $500
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $480
• Medication and follow-up visits: $170

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Andreas
Emergency surgery is $500 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks for asking.
