Satish needs my tuk-tuk repaired to get back to work in Pune
Without my tuk-tuk Satish can't work; a $150 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 3 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $150 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $100
• Labor charges: $20
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $20
• Towing and inspection: $10
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thank you all. We're at 43% now ($64). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for labor charges is now scheduled.

Rooting for you, Satish. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
