Sari lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Jakarta Selatan Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
Her current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Sari could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $100 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $50
• Fitting and training sessions: $25
