Sara lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Newcastle Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $7,600.
Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Sara could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

• Fitting and training sessions: $270
• braille note-taker: $7,000
• First-year servicing plan: $330

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. fitting and training sessions comes first ($270) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Ask me anything else.
