8 rounds of treatment are planned at Bogotá University Hospital; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Santiago was diagnosed with prostate cancer in October. The oncology team at Bogotá University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Santiago is 35, worked as a shop owner until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bogotá University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $3,250 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $510 • Scans and lab work: $190 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,300 • Transport to Bogotá University Hospital: $250 Thank you for reading my story.
