Sani was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in May. The oncology team at the Epe Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Sani is 43, worked as a farmer until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Epe Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
