Samuel's a craniotomy can't wait - please help us cover the bill
Samuel needs a craniotomy at Makati General Hospital and the family is $1,200 short of the hospital's estimate.

Samuel was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the right knee in December. The surgeon at Makati General Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and He is scheduled for April. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,600, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $1,200 short.
my husband has been in and out of Makati General Hospital since December. The doctors say osteoarthritis in the right knee will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,600 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Samuel struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Samuel won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $650
• Hospital stay (4 nights): $430
• Post-operative medication: $30
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $90
I hope life is good to you.
